Plavac Mali Gold edition wine has combined in its flavour all the features of the area where the grapes blossom and the love with which it has been processed in the family cellar. It has a characteristic ruby red, thick almost opaque colour with a dark blue hue that colours the side of the wine glass. This is where the name probably comes from, too: Little Blue – Plavac Mali
Plavac Mali has a complex fragrance and gives away the typical aroma of its varety with a combination of berry fruit and dry, slightly roasted fruit and Mediterranean herbs.
Maturing in oak barrels, this aroma gets an extra kick from the wood. Thanks to the rich sugar sedentation, the wine boasts a high alcohol percentage that gives a sweet taste when consumed. Light acidity and the fullness of taste combine in beautiful strength and durability.
Only 10,000 bottles per year are produced. This vintage has an alcohol of 15%.
