Langhe Pinot Nero 2019 offers a vivid snapshot of a classic cool-climate vintage in the Langhe foothills. It is a fantastic Barbaresco-style rendition of Pinot! It shows a bright ruby core with youthful garnet hues. The nose opens with vibrant scents of red cherry, wild strawberry and dried rose petal, framed by subtle earth and hints of clove. On the palate, crisp acidity and silky, fine-grained tannins carry flavors of raspberry compote, tart cranberry and a touch of forest floor minerality. The 2019 growing season—marked by steady spring rains and warm, sunny autumn days—allowed gentle ripening and preservation of Pinot’s natural elegance. This approachable yet refined Pinot Nero pairs beautifully with mushroom tagliatelle, roasted pork loin or simply grilled trout; enjoy through 2026.
