A very pleasant Sangiovese/Merlot blend from Antonelli, this wine is brilliant ruby red in colour with purplish hues, with an array of fruit and flowers on the nose and marked notes of cherries and red berries. Wonderfully lively and balanced in the mouth with a pleasant and fresh, yet "warm" finish.
The Baiocco Umbria Rosso was recently received an award in the category “Low Cost of Drinking Well” by the Gambero Rosso guide. An interesting recognition that certifies a policy-oriented quality towards all the types of wine from the Antonelli winery.
In the 2017 edition of the Italian wine bible, Gambero Rosso, the Baiocco 2015 received 2 glasses, which is extraordinary for a wine in this price cetegory.
