Pinot Blanc is the brightest of all Pinot varietals, and is known since the 14th century. It is likely developed by a mutation of Pinot Gris, which in turn evolved from the Pinot Noir. A relatively new grape varietal in Castell winery.
Selective hand-picking of grapes in October , temperature-controlled fermentation at 18-20°C in stainless steel tanks. Kept on the yeast for three months.

Palate: Harmoniously round and creamy, fine fresh finish
Enjoyment Recommendation: At 8-10°C an ideal companion for oysters, crustaceans and light cuisine (fish and asparagus), or simply on its own as a refreshing aperitif on the terrace!
